ICON projecten zoeken partners!

ICON-projecten zijn interdisciplinaire samenwerkingsprojecten tussen IBBT (Interdisciplinair Instituut voor Breedband Technologie) onderzoeksgroepen en externe partners zoals bedrijven, overheden, vzw’s enz.
Een aantal ICON projecten zijn nog op zoek naar partners:
- Advanced authentication for mobile platform – mobile wallets (COSIC KUL)
Men zoekt naar een alternatief voor betalingen via banken, om de transactiekosten te vermijden. Betaling zou via mobiele telefoons moeten verlopen – kunnen operators hier ‘bankiers’ worden?
Gezocht: voice, voip biometrics & recognition expertise, authenication expertise
- Virtual fitting room for eye-wear – fashion industry (ESAT-MIC, CUO)
Van foto naar 3D model van het gezicht, hier brillen op passen.
Gezocht: fashion designers, retail keten, eindgebruikers
- Digital Art – private collections + public museums = museum of the future (SMIT, Cultuurlab)
Gezocht: experts meta data, info retrieval, GUI, business model, platform development
Clinical trial automation
- Gezocht: experts secure access, data mining, data anonymising software, CMS
Integrated inclusive media experiences (EDM Hasselt, CUO)
Multimedia access for blind people.
- iRead+ (CoDes Kulak)
An intelligent e-reader application, based on semantically annotated data
Gezocht: uitgevers, software developers
- LODGE Linked open governmental data environment (Tenforce, Krimson, Numius, Colibra,…)
Gezocht: extra data providers
- CACNC loyalty and location based deals (Clear2Pay, Alcatel, CitiLive, Netlog, Colibri)
Gezocht: international retailers
- Reading assistant (IBBT)
Application for children with reading problems.
Gezocht: expertise quick enrichment of text with multimedia; software dev, publishers
- Smart grid security (Cosic)
Privacy aspects of smart grids.
Gezocht: service providers.
